Workshops by Claire Walsh — last modified 2007-08-08 15:46
Two plenary workshop meetings: the first focussed on the use of probabilistic climate scenarios in planning and managing the built environment and infrastructure; the second two-day workshop investigated three themes: evaluation of adaptation options across sectors; linking adaptation and mitigation options and impacts and adaptations in existing and new building stock.
Stakeholder Workshops by Claire Walsh — last modified 2007-08-08 13:20
The emphasis in the second year of SKCC will be upon developing a research agenda for a programme of research following SKCC. The starting point for this process will begin with two stakeholder workshops in London and Edinburgh. THe meetings will seek to: (i) identify policy and business needs; (ii) identify research challenges that can be addressed to tackle users' issues; (iii) identify cross-disciplinary and cross-sector skills needed to address research challenges.
Researcher/Stakeholder Workshops by Claire Walsh — last modified 2007-08-08 13:58
Following the two initial stakeholder meetings, two further researcher/stakeholder workshops will be held. The first of these will scope potential research areas and then the second, following a period of reflection and research design, will define a future research agenda and research strategy.
