Stakeholder Workshops

by Claire Walsh last modified 2007-08-08 15:50

You are invited to a stakeholder workshop on climate change adaptation, an area of research that is rapidly growing in importance. There is a choice of two opportunities to attend the workshop, one on the 1st October in Edinburgh and one on 12th October in London.

The workshops are aimed at those working in sectors in which there will be a need to understand the impacts of climate change on the built environment and infrastructure and be equipped to adapt. For example, our stakeholder network includes local and national Government, utility companies and consultants - not only those who contribute to our research but also those who will use our findings in their work.

This workshop is being run by Sustaining Knowledge for a Changing Climate (SKCC), a programme that is building a stakeholder and research community and exploring future research needs. The aims of the workshops are to identify stakeholder priorities, needs and challenges, understand how to address them and identify stakeholders to engage in ongoing research.

More information about the workshops, SKCC and the stakeholder community can be found HERE, you can also download a booking form
